Chairman’s Message

Dear EIG friends,

There is no doubt that cancer in all its forms changes one’s life dramatically. Whether it be the lives of patients, or the lives of a patient’s family and friends.

My beloved Elena’s journey was but one of millions… but for her, our families and I it was the only one that mattered… until now.

In her name, to help succeed in our endeavour and to support our Foundation, I ask for your contribution and for you to be part of our bigger vision.

Human intelligence, human perseverance and sheer will in the medical research community to make our lives healthier, to beat disease, are the reasons why cutting edge discoveries are made in medical health care every day.

This is where the Elena Iliopoulou Giama Research & Scholarship Foundation will be focusing its efforts: to financially support those candidates which it evaluates, that with the support of the foundation will, through their efforts and research studies, ultimately seed the medical research community with outstanding talent and skills against a deadly and devastating disease.

I therefore would appreciate your financial support of our Foundation, in the form of a donation, so that we may invest together in the future successes that these scholarships may bring to prolong life expectancy and to ultimately prevent and cure cancer.
