ELPIDA
The Greek word for “hope” captures the essence of
what our Foundation wants to spread through our work:
there is hope that a cure for cancer is feasible.
DETERMINATION
Elena was determined to defy the doctors’ diagnosis, fight her disease and live life to the fullest: that is our inspiration. Our scholars are determined to pursue their
passion and find the means to be able to conduct their
studies and research. Our mission is to support them in their efforts.
SCIENCE
Cutting edge discoveries are made in medical health care every day and that is the focus of our Foundation’s work: contribute to the body of research that will eventually lead to the prevention and cure of cancer.
